Procrastination
Today is the last day I ever have to go to HACC. If I don't want to, that is. My Human Services teacher set us up for a guaranteed A, that is if we feel like working for it. He gave us a list of 6 essay questions. Three will be on the final. We can put our answers on notecards for the test. To me, this is a genius teacher move. Not only will we be walking away with the knowledge that he wants us to have, but he looks good because all of his students aced the final. And not even because it was easy, just because we prepared. Anyway, we had a week to prepare our answers and of course I waited until yesterday to start. I walked out of class last week and told a friend, "I'm going to do a question a day." To which she replied, "Good idea!" I don't know if my pride will allow me to admit how much of a procrastinator I am. And here I am. It's 11:00 AM. I have to leave by 1:15, and I'm writing a blog. I don't even have a full answer completed. I keep starting answers and then moving on because I get bored. I wish I had the ability to just start something and not stop until I was done. I inherited the laziness gene from someone, and I'm pissed about it.
